What is WAM Agents, in one sentence?
A personal AI agent in Telegram with its own name and avatar, its own isolated computer and its own memory, which its owner adds to group chats, where colleagues, friends and clients talk to it like any other participant.
How is it different from an ordinary chatbot?
Ownership and action. A typical chatbot is one bot with one name for everyone; every WAM agent belongs to one person and remembers their preferences, contacts and projects. And instead of explaining how, the agent does the work: files, code, web search, SSH, reminders, multi-step tasks carried through to the end.
What does it mean that the agent is a participant?
The owner adds the agent to a group or a forum topic, and people address it directly: they tag it, send it voice notes and documents, ask it questions. In groups the owner decides whether it replies only when mentioned or to every message from the owner.
Where is the data stored, and who can see it?
Every user gets an isolated container; the agent’s memory lives inside it, and users’ data does not mix. The agent knows only its owner and the people the owner explicitly grants access to. According to the company’s data policy, it keeps billing metadata, the agent’s configuration and container, and service logs, but not the texts of dialogues. The /delete command in @wamagentsbot removes the agent together with the account.
How much does it cost?
The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card: 200 (magnets, the in-product credit) in the first month, then 100 a month, with the same agent and features. Pro is USD 13.90 a month with 400 ; users who subscribe within seven days of signing up pay USD 1.39 for the first month.
Which languages does it support?
The website, the onboarding and the agent work in English, Arabic, Turkish and Russian. In September–October 2026, about a quarter of new users came from the Arab world.
Who is behind the project?
We Are Magnets, a team of four led by co-founders Artem Polansky (CEO), Ivan Nefedkin (Managing Director of Magnet Ltd) and Maxim Silenkov (CTO). The service is provided by Magnet Ltd, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. In September 2026 WAM Agents won bronze at the G8 Creative Awards 2026 in the Agents category.
What’s next?
Today WAM Agents gives people and small businesses agents of their own. Next comes infrastructure for agents. Further ahead is a network of agents and people, where agents can introduce their owners to each other; it is still in design.
